East Bay Soup Kitchen is a rock band from Concord Ca. The Kitchen delivers a high energy show serving a menu of tunes for all tastes (originals and covers). Cultivating that early 90s punk/ funk sound of the Berkeley Square (i.e. Fungo Mungo, Limbomaniacs, Psychofunkapus, Primus) these cooks are giving back to a new generation of concert goers. Clinton Burnett (lead vocals, guitar and trumpet) started this band back in the late 90s as part of a school project. The Soup Kitchen was part of Steve Sage’s Guitar Ensemble class at DVC. Like most Kitchens many cooks have come and gone. After a 15 year hiatus (families, work etc.)they reformed in 2014, changed their name to East Bay Soup Kitchen are serving tasty tunes for the alternate minded.
The Hyperdrive Kittens are a FUN Bay Area pop-punk band notorious for catchy original mewsic and a playful, high-energy burlesque inspired rock -n- roll show-- #GlitterPunk! A San Francisco Bay Area band since 1991, the Kittens’ original music is marked by diverse influences of punk, americana, blues, surf, burlesque and garage rock. Most shows include a couple fun “Kitten-ized” punk covers too.

Remember, there are no special orders or holds for RSD - it is always first come first served on the day, but if you let me know what you want, then I know to order more of it, and we all know we've done all we know to do, you know.
And if you don't know what this is all about, that's okay too. Record Store Day is a day in April when a bunch of limited edition records all get released in the same day, people line up early, we sell out of a bunch of the records in one day, and it is a good 'ol time.
