One Armed Joey have been promoting the once-forgotten, melodic punk of Sonoma County since 2014. They’ve played all over the state, self-released two EPs, won four Bohemian NorBay Music Awards for Best Punk Band, and have recorded their first full-length album, Happiness, To Me, slated for a May 27 release via Sell the Heart Records.
They say it’s an album about finding joy in the inner struggles we face every day and “realizing you can’t relate your own sense of well-being to anybody else.” One Armed Joey took their problems and anxieties and turned them into music, “creating happiness out of turmoil.”
